Doug
is a technical writer who also writes and edits on a freelance basis.
His articles have appeared on numerous online sites as well as in print
editions. Fluent in reading technical specifications and translating
complex ideas into common language, Doug has a knack for creating user
guides, service manuals, and other technical publications that are clear
and concise. Doug is also willing to travel for assignments on short
term contracts.

Born and raised in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Doug and Robin met in seventh grade. Bonding their friendship over a mutual love of art, bike riding, J.Geils, and Bachman Turner Overdrive, they managed to survive their teen years only to go their separate ways after high school.
29 years later and living in Mayodan, North Carolina, Doug signed his first book contract and created a website to promote SPEAR. Within a week Robin found the site and they resumed their friendship via the internet. 40 days later he hopped a plane to Michigan, met Robin's kids and grandkids, and brought her back to North Carolina.
They currently reside in Greensboro with a Boxer mix named Rosie the Dog. They're not just friends anymore.
